MY EXPERIENCE

I have been a practicing professional for over 26 years and was drawn to the Healing Arts as far back as my early childhood. I distinctly remember my mother took me to a book fair when I was 4 years old where I picked out two books: one was about yoga and the other was about massage. That interest just grew....

During college, I continued to gravitate toward these subjects. After taking several independent studies in Alternative Health and Healing, I realized that these disciplines were my calling in life. 

My formal massage education consists of certification as a Holistic Health Practitioner from The Heartwood Institute in Northern California, member of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), and the continued expansion of my expertise with mentors during my travels to many magical places. I have also been a martial artist, learning about energy, since I was 9 years old and received my Reiki training in 1997. I have been deepening my understanding of the energetics within and around us since.

I do Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue Therapy, Ashiatsu, Aromatherapy, CranioSacral Therapy, Reiki, and various energy techniques. I work with sound healing, shamanic journeying, guided meditation, herbal waters/sprays, and other ancient healing tools in conjunction with removing energetic and physical blockages from your body.

Even after more than two decades of working with clients using various healing techniques, 
I don’t think of what I do as a job;
it is an extension of who I am. 

I can’t imagine doing anything else. Being present with clients through their healing is a profound experience and, quite frankly, a huge honor.

This work provides endless opportunities to gain new knowledge and experience.

I strive to learn something new every day that could be incorporated into a healing session while in my treatment room.

Through my own observations, training, and research, I have crafted my technique around approaching each individual’s healing uniquely, customizing to specific issues while working with body energy in a collaborative effort to create and shape the healing session of each client.
