This week I have really felt the spring arrive! I knew immediately when I stepped outside and took a breath in. With that inhale I could taste the earth coming back to life. The sound of the birds singing melodies to one another and the scent of green that is springing up all around.

When I look at my life and when it is happiest, most grounded and content, it’s when I am living in harmony with nature. Connecting with nature and the plants is such an essential part of me feeling whole.

Many people think of bitters as an unpleasant sensation on our taste buds and I have to be honest, I often agree. Although, the more I learn about the bitter flavor, the more appreciation and tolerance I have for it. It bears so many gifts to keep our systems running healthier and more smoothly.

It's that time of the year!! Christmas lights up on homes we drive by, Christmas music playing everywhere we go, festive gatherings with friends and family.... it really is the most wonderful time of the year. I admit it.

Teen years. When I think back to my teen years, I wonder how I survived. Especially how my parents survived and how it must have felt to them to witness me unfolding into who I am today.
